The large Viking shield we offer here is suitable for reenactment or light display , combat or sparring.

The round shield, suitable for display combat, consists of 3 layers of MDF (medium-density fibreboard) and is covered or glued on the front with a sturdy, natural-coloured canvas (so-called tarpaulin ). The fabric was left unpainted to give you the opportunity, if you wish, to personalise the sign with your own colours or motifs. With a little practical know-how and skill, you can transform the blank shield into an authentic Viking Age shield.

The edge of the shield is covered with rawhide, which is considered more impact-resistant and durable than tanned leather. It cushions shocks and knocks much better and thus prolongs the life of the sign.

The generously designed guard offers enough space even for strong Viking hands and is fixed firmly in position with four nails.

The back of the wooden shield is equipped with three nailed reinforcing strips made of pine wood. The middle bar also serves as a handle and is rounded for a comfortable hold at the level of the shield hole.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to the specifications requested by the buyer or clearly personalized, except for manufacturing defects or errors. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the Customer .
