It is a small, hand-forged knife from Scotland with a decorated wooden handle. This traditional Scottish knife, also known as a "sock dagger" is worn on the right sock, so that only the top of the handle can be seen. It originally served ceremonial purposes.

Since the 18th century the Sgian Dubh has been part of the basic equipment of every Highland Scot. The name comes from Gaelic and means "black". It is unclear whether this refers only to the colours of the hilt, which was actually predominantly black or dark brown, or whether "hidden" means something else, or "hidden" is derived from it.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
