Season 5:

The fifth and final season of The Boys is officially in production. Filming began in November 2024 and is expected to continue until mid-2025.
The premiere, as confirmed by Prime Video, is scheduled for sometime in 2026, consisting of 8 episodes that will bring this story to a close.
Eric Kripke, the series creator, has stated that this season will be the "emotional climax" of the story, and has promised an intense conclusion, full of deaths and irreversible decisions. "We're going out with a bang. It's time for everything to explode," he commented in a recent interview.
The cast has also shared their impressions. Karl Urban (Billy Butcher) assured that this has been the "most emotionally demanding" shoot of the entire series. For his part, Antony Starr (Homelander) hinted that his character "still has a lot to show... and to fear."
Additionally, the return of characters like Soldier Boy is expected, and the possible appearance of Jared Padalecki (actor known for his role as Sam Winchester in the series Supernatural) in a new role.

projects in 2025
Although the end is near, The Boys will not go out quietly. This 2025 is presented as a key year in the consolidation of the narrative universe, with several projects related to The Boys universe being developed:
- Gen V – Season 2: The spin-off centered on young superheroes is in full production. Its premiere is scheduled for late 2025.
- Vought Rising: A prequel set in the 1950s that will explore the origins of Vought and will feature Soldier Boy and Stormfront. Filming will begin in August 2025.
- The Boys: Mexico: This new spin-off will be set in Mexican territory. Although still in the development phase, it is already generating high expectations due to its regional focus and narrative potential.
A year after the fourth season, The Boys not only remains relevant but reinforces its position as one of the most daring and talked-about franchises on television today.
