He calls himself the last Quincy, driven by a strong sense of justice and honor. Although initially distant and reserved, with a fervent rejection of the Shinigami, he proves to be a reliable ally. His Quincy Pride guides him to protect the weak and act with justice, even against formidable enemies.
With his Quincy Cross, he channels Reishi to create spiritual bows and arrows, like his powerful Seele Schneider. His Sanrei Glove allows him to reach extreme levels of power, albeit with great risks.
His intelligence and analytical ability make him a key piece of the team, while his apparent rivalry with Ichigo adds an interesting and even amusing nuance to their relationship.
Yasutora "Chad" Sado

He is the perfect example of strength and loyalty. Although his appearance and superhuman strength might be intimidating, he is noble and protective.
Educated by his grandfather, his teachings and moral code lead him to protect the weak without hesitation, even at his own sacrifice; although it is undeniable that his life took a drastic turn from the moment he met Ichigo, becoming a loyal and close friend to him...
His powers, awakened by the Hōgyoku, manifest as a spiritual armor on his right arm, Brazo del Gigante (Arm of the Giant). Later, in Hueco Mundo, he develops a second armor, with a greater focus on attack, on his left arm, Brazo del Diablo (Arm of the Devil). With these abilities, Chad can even face enemies of an Espada's level.
Orihime Inoue

She is a character who generates diverse impressions among fans, although her evolution throughout the story is undeniable.
She is the embodiment of compassion and kindness. Despite her apparent naivety and dreamy nature, she possesses great intelligence and determination. Her spiritual ability called Shun Shun Rikka consists of a group of spirits in the form of small fairies that manifest through the hair ornaments given to her by her deceased brother, and allow her to heal wounds, create shields, and attack. Although her power could be said to be more inclined towards defense, she proves to be a key member of the team thanks to her will to protect others.

Finally, we meet the protagonist of the story, and the one who holds such a diverse group together.
He is a stubborn, brave, protective young man with a strong sense of justice, known for his unwavering determination to protect those he loves, even if he must sacrifice his life to do so.
He is someone who is not afraid to break the rules to do what he believes is right, nor does he hesitate to take his place as a Substitute Shinigami to protect not only those he knows but also those with no connection to him... In this way, his strength, selfless character, and constant growth make him a symbol of perseverance, always ready to overcome any obstacle.
Initially, his Zanpakutō, Zangetsu, is the perfect reflection of his character. From the very beginning, it manifested as a gigantic, sheathless sword overflowing with immense spiritual power, rather than appearing like those of other Shinigami.
In its materialized form, Zangetsu first appears as an older man in dark clothing, who is later revealed to be an image linked to the Quincy powers, while the figure associated with Hollow powers, who appears similar to Ichigo but in white tones, and whom many called "White Ichigo", turns out to be the true essence of his sword.
His technique, Getsuga Tenshō, channels his spiritual energy into a devastating crescent moon-shaped attack. And his Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, embodies the compressed essence of Ichigo's immense power. His sword then becomes stylized, thin, and black, and his clothes also adapt accordingly, becoming part of said Bankai, which enhances his speed, strength, and endurance.
