The 9 Pillars of Kimetsu no Yaiba. "Elemental" Pillars
As we began in the previous installment, where we introduced the Stone Pillar, the Sound Pillar, and the Mist Pillar, we still have six more to discover. In this second part, it's the turn of the Water Pillar, the Flame Pillar, and the Wind Pillar. We'll save the Serpent Pillar, the Insect Pillar, and the Love Pillar for the final installment.
If you're ready, let's continue getting to know these Pillars and find out if your favorite is among them.
Water Pillar - Giyu Tomioka

Giyu masters the "Water Breathing" technique, which he learned directly from Sakonji Urokodaki. He also uses "Total Concentration Breathing," which allows him to improve blood flow and oxygenate his muscles, thus reaching his full potential in combat. His fluid style and analytical mind allow him to defeat even the Lower Moons with ease.
Reserved and serious, but with a compassionate background, Giyu has a strong sense of justice. This is evident in his decision to protect Nezuko, even if it went against the demon slayer code, demonstrating his humanity and his ability to question rules when necessary. He was the first Pillar to appear in the story and responsible for placing Nezuko's characteristic bamboo muzzle on her.
With a fluid combat style and great tactical intelligence, Giyu is capable of successfully facing powerful demons. However, he carries the guilt of having survived his friend Sabito. It is thanks to Tanjiro that he finds meaning in his life and decides to live in honor of those who sacrificed theirs.
His Demon Slayer Mark appears on the left side of his face and is shaped like water currents.
Flame Pillar - Kyojuro Rengoku

A skilled, brave, charismatic, and honorable warrior, Kyojuro is known for his mastery of "Flame Breathing" and his unwavering dedication to protecting the innocent. He inherited the title of Pillar from his father and his mother's values, who instilled in him the importance of protecting the weakest.
He possesses extraordinary technique and swordsmanship, the result of rigorous practice and strict discipline. In battle, he demonstrated bravery, physical strength, and strategic skills. His tragic death left an indelible mark on history, solidifying him as one of the most beloved characters in the series.
Wind Pillar - Sanemi Shinazugawa

Sanemi is known for his hatred of demons, a result of the losses he suffered in his childhood. He stands out for his great strength, speed, and his mastery of "Wind Breathing," a combat style based on fast and precise attacks.
His extremely rare blood is intoxicating to demons, making him an effective decoy in combat. Of an abrasive and stubborn nature, marked by his tragic past, he is willing to sacrifice himself to protect both innocents and his comrades.
Although his attitude is hostile, especially towards the protagonists, Sanemi shows a deep love for his younger brother, Genya, and respect for Kagaya. His determination and resilience shine especially in his confrontation with Kokushibo and in the final battle, where he plays a crucial role. Throughout the story, he shows remarkable evolution, revealing his kinder side and even apologizing to Nezuko.
His Demon Slayer Mark appears on his right cheek in the shape of a green origami windmill, accompanied by two dots on the sides.
