They offer a unique journey through the history of comic and manga, where each exhibition invites you to explore the richness of sequential art. They not only tell stories through images but also open a window to the diversity of styles and voices that make them up.
A wide variety of proposals are gathered there, ranging from the work of great comic references to the most innovative contributions of new talents. These exhibitions celebrate the diversity and dynamism of comics as an art form.

Since 2007, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has organized the Japan International Manga Award, prizes that seek to honor the work of artists from all over the world with the aim of expanding exchange through Manga culture. In this exhibition, organized by Escola Joso, the Consulate of Japan in Barcelona, and the Comic and Manga Convention of Valencia, the awarded works of Spaniards, many of whom have triumphed beyond their borders, will be on display.
Contests and Competitions
The contests are another of its great attractions.
Starting with the classic must-have, the Cosplay Contest, where participants can show their creativity, bringing a character to life in which every detail tells a story. Thanks to which there is always a wide diversity of cosplayers that will allow, as usual, to enjoy the best interpretations of iconic characters.
There will also be a K-Pop Dance Tournament, which will bring together talented dancers from all over Spain in a competition full of energy, music, and great choreographies.
And also, another exciting novelty: the Manga Illustration Contest, which offers emerging artists the opportunity to showcase their talent and win prizes that include scholarships for art and design studies.
Interactive activities and workshops
The event will feature workshops for all tastes, from drawing and Japanese calligraphy classes to introductory language sessions.
There will also be martial arts demonstrations, such as kendo and aikido, which will allow attendees to get closer to this facet of Japanese culture.
For technology lovers, a virtual reality zone will be set up with anime-themed experiences and an exhibition of classic and modern video games.

Evidently, the Joc & Rol (Game & Role) area will not be missing, intended for board game and role-playing enthusiasts.
