A Date Marked on the Calendar
On September 3, 2026, The Blood of Dawnwalker, the new action RPG developed by Rebel Wolves—a studio formed by former members of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt team—will officially arrive. It will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, offering a setting in medieval Europe dominated by plague, conflict, and a supernatural threat.
The project has garnered significant interest among genre fans due to the creators' track record and a setting that combines dark fantasy elements with a vampire-centric story.
Its release marks one of the most anticipated RPG launches of 2026.

The Game and Its Features
When Night Falls
The adventure places the player in 14th-century Europe, a period marked by disease, wars, and deep social tensions. In this context, Coen appears, a young man whose life changes after becoming a Dawnwalker, a creature that combines human and vampiric characteristics.
The transformation will have consequences during the game and will be linked to the available abilities. The protagonist can confront enemies using conventional weapons, but will also have vampiric powers that offer new possibilities during combat.
The day-night cycle takes on special importance, as Coen's supernatural abilities are affected by different conditions depending on the time of day the player is in. Therefore, progressing through the environment requires considering more than just the enemies in one's path.
The Clock Also Counts
The open world of The Blood of Dawnwalker is structured around an idea that directly affects the adventure: available time. Coen must try to achieve his objectives as the clock advances, a circumstance that can influence decisions made during the game.
One of his main goals will be to save his family, but reaching that point will depend on the actions taken throughout the journey, as decisions can alter certain events and offer different ways to advance the story.
This mechanic introduces constant pressure on exploration. Spending time discovering new areas, completing specific situations, or following a particular path might mean postponing other opportunities.

Three Ways to Begin
The launch will feature different editions.
The Standard Edition will include only the game, while other versions will add physical and digital content such as a Steelbook, map, comic, soundtrack, compendium, and a Coen figure for the collector's edition.
From a technical standpoint, there will also be significant new features for console players.
From its launch, The Blood of Dawnwalker will incorporate a performance mode targeting 60 FPS on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X, in addition to configurations for 30 and 40 FPS.
Rebel Wolves' RPG will thus arrive on the announced platforms with a supernatural medieval adventure where every decision offers results that can change the course of events, providing a true immersive experience in the story. It's not just about postponing decisions, but about choosing priorities through which each player can determine their own path.
